Walking Under Blue Skies

Walking Under Blue Skies
We've had a couple of weeks of fantastic weather here in London. It's been on the warmer end of things lately, with temperatures reaching 31ºC on Saturday. I've been taking the opportunity to get out and soak in some good Vitamin D. I've gone off the supplements now that the sunshine is intense enough for me to actually synthesise it myself - provided I spend at least an hour in direct outdoor sunlight (not through glass). Walking for at least an hour a day has done wonders for my general health.
Walking and running are both excellent forms of exercise that offer unique benefits. I did dabble in running a bit about a decade ago, but I have bad knees from doing competitive athletics in my teenage years. Walking is a low-impact activity that is gentle on the joints, making it suitable for people with joint issues or those recovering from injuries. It is a sustainable and accessible exercise that can be easily incorporated into daily routines. Walking outdoors can also have a positive impact on mental well-being, reducing stress levels and improving mood. Additionally, regular brisk walking can aid in weight management by burning calories and boosting metabolism. The low intensity also ensure that I don't burn off any precious muscles :)

The other pleasant activity, of course, is photography. I usually stop to photography anything that catches my eyes, which are usually quite random, but now and again I'd pick a subject matter and look for scenes of that nature. "Green and Blue" was the theme this time and it was pretty easy to look up and see the lush green leaves of trees against the backdrop of clear blue skies.
I'm also thinking of bringing back walking and vlogging. I used to do it back in the day when we were still on the old blockchain. I remember a few people on here did it too. My neighbourhood is not that much fun though, and it's quite loud with all the cars. Maybe when I'm on holiday somewhere quieter and more picturesque, I'll do some of that.
Peace & Love,
Adé

When one goes to such a place where the sky is blue and there are beautiful trees, walking is a pleasure in itself. It is a natural thing to see.
