Mid-May Walk - Mystery of the two flowers

Mid May Walk
I decided to take some photos on my walk today. It's mid-May and I can't believe how quickly the first half of the month has flown by. Before we know it, it will be June. Crazy.
I was observing the trees and plants generally on my walk and, of course, the blossoms are all gone now. The other flowers are coming out nicely on non-blossom trees, ironically making them look less green. The grass, on the other hand, looks lush and deep green, so the flowers on the ground stand out contrasted against that.
At one point though I had to do a double-take. I noticed a type of slower that bloomed on a tree. I then noticed the same flower, more or less, blooming on a hedge plant that was clearly different from the tree.
On closer inspection, there was a very tiny difference in the colour of the flowers, the shrub flower had a hint of pink, but it was visually the same flower. What gives? How are two different plants producing the same flower? Is this a parasitical plant of some kind that has somehow bonded with a host? I don't get it :)
Peace & Love,
Adé

Those look like hawthorn to me, but I'm no expert.
I've just been out clearing parts of the garden. Various things are flowering. Our big poppies could be out soon and the strawberries are coming along.
Ha thanks. I think that might be it. .. however the leaves on the tree match but the shrubs don't match haha. Something is going on 😅
