Harmful rays, dynamic range and the iPhone
Sunday Snap
This sunlight is actually harmful. Sitting there in front of a large glass window, the sun feels warm even in winter. However the harmful rays of light that get through are without any of the benefits. The Vitamin D stimulating frequencies are actually filtered out by the glass while the harmful UV rays pass right through. All the harm and none of the benefits 😂
But, you know, I'll take any type of sunlight I can get. Apart from Vitamin D having a positive biochemical effect on the, there's also the effect of bright daylight and other positive hormones that get released that make us feel "happy". So it's not all bad I guess :)
Can we just take some time to appreciate some technological advancement? The above photo was taken with the front-facing camera of a mobile phone from 2019! It's not even the latest tech, and not the best camera on the phone... and look at the quality! My mind is blown by how good these cameras have become. I hardly ever bring out my proper camera these days. Also the dynamic range is so good now, especially if you use HDR. This isn't HDR, this is just a shot with no tweaks. Normally digital photos can't handle this dynamic range. See the part of my arm that appears yellow? I can still bring back some detail from that area if I reduce the exposure. Had I used HDR, it would have appeared like the part of my face that is highlighted. The iPhone achieves this via software. Dedicated cameras can't do that normally. How far we've come.

Wow! The photo is beautiful, I mean who would have even thought that the photo was taken in 2019.... it looks like it was taken with the latest phone
And this is what I do almost everyday.
I can't ceased to appreciate the existence of technology in our lives.
The phone is from 2019 not the photo, which was taken yesterday haha. But, it's the same thing really.
Oh! Okay.... yeah it's the same thing. 2019 phone? And the camera is clean like, that must have been a good product
Just look at how a mobile phone of 2019 is taking amazing pictures
This is really nice
We don’t need to pressure ourselves to buy the latest phone
Agreed. I update my stuff after 5 years on average.
