A nice day out in nature taking photos

Happy Sunday,

It's dull and rainy here in London today, but I enjoyed spending nearly all Saturday outdoors with my camera. I already published some of the photos but here are the remainder of the ok-ish ones I got. As you can see, I was also recording video outdoors. I get random B-rolls to be used at a later time, being the full time content creator that I am :)

That yellow and black contraption at the base of my phone is the Saramonic Blink500 wireless microphone system receiver. The transmitter part is clipped to my collar, which is barely visible next to my wrist.

A couple of the very old trees in the park had shed a branch or two, probably due to the recent storms. Those branches were dead anyway and were just hanging on. It was probably a good thing since there weren't many people about during the storm to be put in danger of being hit by such monster trunks. I like that the park authority just left the branches there in place. People now use them as benches to sit on. They did remove some smaller branches to, for safety reasons.

The leaves are looking so rustic and photogenic. I'm looking forward to visiting the countryside next week. Hopefully the leaves are still there by then and not all blown away by the coming storms. I haven't experienced the full autumn immersion this year.

I'm particularly enjoying the green and brown contrasts everywhere. Whether it be the brown of leaves against green lawns, or the brown bricks of buildings against green hedges. It's been actually quite dry this past summer, but somehow the greens came back in early autumn.

I think the council has been a little lazy this year with the leaves, having left them on the roads. Normally they'd be quick to clean up the leaves. Maybe they're cutting costs this year and "embracing nature" more, lol.

And, yes, that's me sporting my "pandemic wear". Those are authentic Crocs with phelt lining, thank you very much. I haven't been posting as frequently as I used to. I got really busy IRL and all that stuff. Hopefully now I'll do at least two posts a week, hopefully more.

Peace & Love,

Adé

Outdoor things become even more beautiful in the rainy season. Both the mobile phone and the camera must be waterproof to take good pictures.
