What a pleasant surprise, a couple of mushrooms!

There are two types of mushroom lovers: those who can find them almost every day on their way, and those like me, who only see them occasionally, but love them just the same. I know practically nothing about these beautiful creatures, but I love them, and when I see one, it's a huge thrill for me.

Today I found a couple of beautiful mushrooms while walking around the gardens. I went to look for something in a storage room and on my way back I noticed this pair of mushrooms, which I had never seen in person before. I don't know what kind they are, but I was so happy that I immediately dropped what I was carrying in my hands to search my pockets for my cell phone so I could take a picture of them.

To my surprise, when I reached into my pockets, my cell phone wasn't there, so I ran home, grabbed my phone, and returned to the spot. There they were, like something out of a fairy tale, this pair of mushrooms that look like umbrellas in very light beige tones with brown spots on top.

As you can see, one is larger than the other, and the larger one seems to be a little damaged on one of its edges, perhaps from being brushed by a cat, as we have a few in the area. Taking the photos, especially the close-ups, was a challenge due to the vegetation surrounding the mushrooms, and I had to go into the garden to get closer and get some shots.

On the other hand, my smallest cat, named Maomao, accompanied me on the adventure and appears in one of the photos as she approached to sniff one of the mushrooms. In another photo, part of her fur appears, because, like any good cat, she is curious and wanted to know what was attracting my attention.

Of the shots I managed to capture, I love the ones where you can see the underside of the mushrooms. I feel like I'm in a movie about the famous Smurfs, in a forest where mushrooms abound and it's normal to see them.

Finally, I would appreciate it if anyone who has more knowledge on the subject could educate me and tell me if they know what kind of mushroom I came across.

Existen dos tipos de amantes de los hongos, los que pueden encontrarlos casi que a diario en su camino y los que como yo, solo los vemos de manera ocasional, pero igual les amamos. No sé prácticamente nada de estos hermosos personajes, pero me encantan y cuando veo uno, es una inmensa emoción para mí.

Hoy encontré un par de hermosos hongos cuando rondada los jardines, fui a buscar algo en un depósito y de regreso note este par de hongos de los cuales nunca había visto uno en persona, desconozco de que tipo puedan ser, pero fue tanta mi alegría que solté casi que de inmediato lo que traía en mis manos para buscar en mis bolsillos el celular y poder captarlos en fotografía.

Para mi sorpresa, al tocar mis bolsillos no tenía mi celular a la mano, así que corrí a casa y tomé mi teléfono para regresar al lugar. Allí estaban, como salidos de un cuento, este par de hongos que parecen unos paraguas en tonos beige muy claros y con manchas marones sobre su parte superior.

Como podrán notar, uno es de mayor tamaño que el otro, justamente el más grande parece un poco lastimado en uno de sus bordes, tal vez por el roce de algún gato, ya que tenemos unos cuantos, en la zona, tomar las fotografías, sobre todo las más cercanas fue un reto debido a la vegetación que rodeaba a los hongos, además tuve que meterme en el jardín para poder acercarme y así lograr algunas tomas.

Por otra parte, mi gata más pequeña, llamada Maomao, me acompañó en la aventura y aparece en una de las fotos mientras se acercó a olfatear uno de los hongos y en otra aparece parte de su pelaje, pues como buena gata es curiosa y ella deseaba saber qué era lo que tanto llamaba mi atención.

De las tomas que logré captar, amo en las que se ve la parte abajo de los hongos, me siento en una película de los famosos Pitufos, en un bosque donde abundan las setas y es algo normal verlos

Finalmente, agradecería a cualquiera que tenga más conocimiento sobre el tema que me pueda instruir y decirme si sabe qué hongo fue con el que me tope.
