Out of nowhere and freely

For a long time, I have been trying to understand that controlling everything or most things is simply impossible. We can control some things, but not everything. Sometimes we cannot even control ourselves in certain situations. Now imagine when we talk about nature, which never ceases to amaze us. In a matter of minutes, it can make a river overflow and flood kilometers, not to mention how plants reclaim spaces.
An example of the latter is the ruins of places hidden by nature. I am talking about sites such as Machu Picchu in Peru, which were hidden from view for years because nature covered them after they were abandoned.
Now, in our gardens, plants often appear or grow that we have not planted there and sometimes we have no idea where they came from. In some cases, these plants are annoying, especially weeds, but in others, they are plants that we come to like.

In my house, there are two that I would like to highlight. The first one I will talk about is the cockroach, whose scientific name is Zebrina pendula. This creeping plant arrived in the gardens in front of the building, and we don't even know how. In fact, it is called cockroach because of the shape and color of its leaves, which resemble the appearance of a cockroach. In addition, some people associate the name with its creeping and prolific nature, similar to how cockroaches can multiply rapidly.
The first time we saw cockroaches in the gardens, my grandmother hated them and began to pull them out of the area where they were appearing, but by pulling them out of one place and then throwing them into another, she only managed to spread them, because, as I mentioned, they grow very easily.

This purple creeping plant, which turns greenish with constant exposure to the sun, seems to me to be an excellent ornamental plant, not only because of how it looks, but also because it keeps weeds at bay, and its colors when it spreads through gardens make it look very nice. In fact, I have seen it in gardens created for ornamental purposes, and it is a plant that does not need excessive care. I have noticed that the plant is quite resistant to drought, but it certainly needs to be pruned a little from time to time.
The other plant that arrived, I don't even know how it got into the gardens, is similar to or of the same type as the monstera, or at least I think so. I suddenly saw it growing under a tree in the park and I liked it so much that I asked someone to take a little bit for me to plant in a pot. I am very proud of how my plant is doing, and knowing that part of it remains where I found it tells me that I could plant others, as I think it is a beautiful plant.

At one point, there were also some Bella a las once herbs and other flowering plants that I loved, but when they cleaned the gardens, they pulled them up, and I haven't seen them since.
So far, these are the plants that have appeared out of nowhere but have won my heart. That's how my participation in WEEK 18 - Freestylin' ends.
