Indoor and outdoor plants/ Plantas de interiores y exteriores

When you decide to live a life with and among plants, there is always something to take care of, here we have already had the first rains, which made the weeds grow, which makes me be attentive to the plants I have recently planted, lest they drown them.

On the other hand, I spent a few hours last week to plant in the gardens some of the mother-in-law's tongues that I had at home, since it was noticeable that in the pot where they were they had no more space so I planted them in an area where there is nothing but some weeds and stone so that after their adaptation period they will give more offspring and thus instead of seeing weeds, I will have another nice dry garden.

Also, I planted in a big pot a huge mother-in-law's tongue (St. George's sword) that I was given as a gift, at first I kept it inside my home, but then I remembered that at cleaning time I would have to do a lot of weight to move it, so I decided to place it outside, next to my door, it looks great and I hope soon to see its adaptation and more children in that huge pot.

In the same way, another plant of this same smaller one that I had at home showed to grow very fast so I transplanted it to a deeper and a little wider pot, that one is inside my home, the truth is its current pot is not of my total taste, but I will wait for it to grow a little more to move it to another one, which I should acquire because I have only brown and very big ones.

Likewise I added to my plants a new Zamioculca, this one is bigger and is in my setup, while my other two plants of these same, grow and heal, the one that has given a spectacular growth after much waiting is my calethea its stem has grown and so far has given a new leaf and the other one is opening and I think it will open more, this encourages me to plant a new one.

Also, I transplanted to a pot the last jade I had in temporary pots, it looks healthy and strong so I went from one inherited plant to four of my own, some look better than others, but I think the difference is the substrate they have in one the water seems not to drain in the best way and there is the detail.

I prepared an organic fertilizer with banana shells and water, I let it sit as directed for three days in the shade and added it to many of my indoor plants, the truth is that it stunk, but my plants look more alive and I will see how they grow after trying this recipe.

Finally I have continued with my project of planting more cretonas, to have in addition to the two dry gardens, color in the areas, as if this were not enough, I am happy to see that of the last aloe plants that I planted at least one is doing very well and apparently of the other two one will be saved and will grow, so I see that little by little the goals are being achieved, I say goodbye leaving here my participation in the May Garden Journal Challenge

Cuando se decide a vivir una vida con y entre plantas, siempre hay algo que atender aquí ya se dieron las primeras lluvias, lo que hizo crecer la mala hierba, lo que me hace estar atenta a las plantas que he sembrado de manera reciente, no sea que estas las ahoguen.

Por otro lado, dediqué unas horas de la semana pasada a sembrar en los jardines algunas de las lenguas de suegra que tenía en casa, ya que se notaba que en el matero en el que estaban ya no tenían espacio así que las sembré en una zona donde no hay más que algo de mala hierba y piedra para que tras su periodo de adaptación den más hijos y así en lugar de ver mala hierba, tener otro lindo jardín seco.

También, plante en una maceta grande una lengua de suegra (espada de San Jorge) enorme que me obsequiaron, en un principio la mantuve en el interior de mi hogar, pero luego recordé que a la hora de la limpieza tendría que hacer mucho peso para moverla, así que decidí colocarla afuera, junto a mi puerta, la verdad luce genial y espero pronto ver su adaptación y más hijos en esa enorme maceta.

De la misma manera, otra planta de esta misma más chica que tenía en casa mostró crecer muy rápido así que la trasplante a una maceta más profunda y un poco más amplia, esa si está en el interior de mi hogar, la verdad su actual maceta no es de mi total gusto, pero esperaré crezca un poco más para pasarla a otra, la cual debería adquirir porque no tengo más que de tono marrón y muy grandes.

Así mismo agregué a mis plantas una nueva Zamioculca, esta es más grande y está en mi setup, mientras mis otras dos plantas de estas mismas, crecen y sanan, la que ha dado un crecimiento espectacular luego de mucho esperar es mi calethea su tallo a crecido y hasta ahora ha dado una hoja nueva y la otra está abriendo y creo que abrirá más, esto me animo a sembrar una nueva.

Además, trasplante a una maceta el último jade que tenía en macetas temporales luce sano y fuerte así que pase de una planta heredada a cuatro propias, unas lucen mejor que otras, pero creo que la diferencia es el sustrato que tienen en una el agua parece no drenar de la mejor manera y allí está el detalle.

Prepare un abono orgánico con conchas de plátano y agua, lo dejé reposar tal cual las indicaciones tres días a la sombra y lo agregue a muchas de mis plantas de interiores, la verdad apestaba, pero mis plantas lucen más vivas y veré que tal crecen luego de probar esta receta.

Por último he continuado con mi proyecto de sembrar más cretonas, para tener además de los dos jardines secos, color en las áreas, por si esto fuera poco, me alegra ver que de las últimas plantas de aloe que sembré al menos una va muy bien y al parecer de las otras dos una se salvara y crecerá, así que veo que poco a poco las metas se van logrando, me despido dejando por acá mi participación en el May Garden Journal Challenge
