Hasta no hace mucho, ir a otro país me parecía algo muy complicado y además pensaba que era algo que probablemente nunca haría en mi vida. Sin embargo, ahora, y en buena parte gracias a Hive, lo he realizado. En mi anterior publicación mencionaba que me encontraba realizando Power Down desde principios de enero, el cual aún continúa y seguirá otras 3 semanas. No pienso abandonar Hive, todo lo contrario. Este Power Down me servirá para continuar en Hive y seguirles compartiendo y llevando el mundo a la blockchain y la blockchain de Hive al mundo.

Para resumirles un poco todo, desde un tiempo para acá empecé a sentir que mi vida en Venezuela se había estancado, y como joven de 27 años no podía seguir así. Hive cambia vidas, no solo desde el punto de vista de filosofía de vida. Un gran Hiver una vez mencionó que el Hive Power era el seguro para el Hiver del mañana (o algo así), y pues, el yo de hoy necesitaba casi que con urgencia un nuevo ambiente, un nuevo mundo por explorar, en donde pueda crecer.

Nunca pensé que algún día estaría en España, y menos aún en una región como las Islas Canarias. Esta zona del mundo tiene ciertos parecidos con Venezuela pero con un clima más fresco y variable. Tenerife hasta ahora me ha parecido una isla muy agradable, aunque quizás aún debo tratar de adaptarme mejor a un clima más frío respecto al de donde vivía. Santa Cruz de Tenerife es la ciudad que más conozco hasta ahora, y el centro y casco histórico me recuerda un poco a algunas zonas del centro y este de Caracas.

Espero conocer más esta isla y se los estaré trayendo a Hive. Hay muchos sitios y cosas que quiero compartir en la blockchain, desde este blog. Una de las primeras cosas que he notado en Tenerife es que los perros ocupan un lugar muy especial en la sociedad. Alrededor de un 30-40% de las personas en las calles llevan a un perro de una correa. Llevo varios días acá y no he visto un solo gato, quizás son esterilizados en la mayoría de los casos. Escuché que las mascotas están muy bien controladas aquí, y hasta llevan un chip.

Me considero una persona un poco detallista al momento de tomar fotografias, especialmente si dichas fotografías serán publicadas en Hive. Algo que he notado en Tenerife es la presencia de una buena cantidad de parques y áreas verdes. Las calles se ven bastante bien cuidadas, al menos en comparación a mi país de origen. Todo esto es un mundo nuevo para mi, y me gustaría compartir con ustedes todo lo que vea por aca, plasmar cada aventura y experiencia en mi blog de Hive.

This part of the world has certain similarities with Venezuela but with a cooler and more variable climate. Tenerife so far has seemed to me a very pleasant island, although perhaps I still have to try to adapt better to a cooler climate than where I used to live. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the city I know the most so far, and the center and old town reminds me a bit of some areas of central and eastern Caracas.

I hope to get to know more of this island and I will be bringing them to Hive. There are many places and things I want to share on the blockchain, from this blog. One of the first things I noticed in Tenerife is that dogs have a very special place in society. About 30-40% of the people on the streets carry a dog on a leash. I have been here for several days and I have not seen a single cat, perhaps they are sterilized in most cases. I hear that pets are very well controlled here, and they even carry a chip.

I consider myself a bit of a detail person when taking photographs, especially if those photographs will be published on Hive. One thing I have noticed in Tenerife is the presence of a good amount of parks and green areas. The streets look quite well maintained, at least compared to my home country.
