Survival Mode

They say if you didn’t spend your school years eatin’ ink, then you’re already doin’ better than most folks on this planet. Well, that shit’s true, to some extent... But let’s flip the script and look at it from another angle.

Oil ain’t as scarce as the elites want us to think. Space to live ain’t either. There’s a ton of uninhabited land across the globe, and everyone could live in abundance if it weren’t for these exclusive economies screwin’ things up.

Exclusive economies thrive on corruption. Some of y’all might wanna say that’s just a third-world problem, but take a good look around. Is your world perfect?

Hell no... The ones at the top rake in over 90% of the wealth while the rest of us are scrapin’ by, barely makin’ ends meet. Some folks might argue the masses are just dumb and lazy, and that’s why there’s such a huge gap between the rich and the poor.

That ain’t the whole story. Sure, there’s plenty of dumbasses in the crowd, but there’s also a bunch of smart folks who can’t get ahead ‘cause they ain’t playin’ the system’s game. Nancy Pelosi made 200 million bucks as a politician through insider trading.

Feels like society’s built to keep most of us in survival mode while a few hoard way more than they’ll ever need. Some might be wonderin’ what the hell this has to do with a photography post? Nothin’, I just felt like spinnin’ a story to go with these photos.
