Kladovo, Serbia is all About Great Food, Top Notch Hospitality and Beautiful Women. You Gotta Get There At Least Once in a Lifetime

The border between Romania and Serbia is mostly created by the Danube. It's a naturally created one and my home town is so close to Kladovo that you can literally see in the people's yards from my place. I'm kidding, you can't...
But the town, which is less than 10,000 inhabitants, is about 30 kilometers away from us. You just literally got to "get over the Danube" and turn left and you're there in no time. Kladovo is on the right side of the Danube river.
Crossing over the Iron Gates which is a "man-made" electricity-producing dam is a must. The project is a collaboration between our country and Serbia and it serves us both for about half a century.
We went the other day to Kladovo to have dinner. Well, actually we got there for a well-deserved cheat meal. They have some local food named pleskavica which is insanely tasty. It's their own national burger and you have to try it "at least once" if you're in the area.
Kladovo is full of life during summer. Most of the locals that live abroad are coming back to town and when you're famous for the great food and hospitality as a town then you should expect tourists as well.
During the plandemic the unvaccinated weren't allowed to enter the country, a category from which I was proud to be a part of, but now all that shit is gone and we're free once again to taste the Serbian great cuisine.
I mentioned that we were there to eat pleskavica, but there's no pic with it...
Well, that's because I forgot to take any. I was so damn hungry that I literally skipped this moment. I managed to have quite a few pics of the downtown near the open-air restaurants they have. We were quite a bunch of friends over there and it's so long since all of us met together in one place.
You have to believe me by word that the food was great and the hospitality of the Serbians is top notch. It took us a while to find a free table for...9, but we finally made it. The visit was definitely worth it and I would for sure do it again in the near future.
Hope you liked the pics and see you in the next post. If possible, go see Kladovo and eat the damn pleskavica, it's worth it.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
