Last night we had below-freezing temperatures for the first time this December. I could tell it was going to be cold during the night by the cold it was at about 8 PM after I got back home from the gym. I love low temperatures same as I love the summer.

I believe that living in a four-season climate it's natural to come to terms with all types of weather.

A few days ago when I went shopping I forgot to buy lemons and this morning when I went to the fridge and looked for a lemon to make my "morning warm lemonade" I found out I had none... Hence I had to run to the supermarket and buy some.

Thanks to having changed the battery of my car a few weeks ago starting it at -2C wasn't a problem at all and while the engine was left to warm up a bit I took the chance and shoot a bunch of photos with the frost on my car.

There was some ice on the road too but I forgot to photograph it... Maybe next time.

It felt refreshing though to get out in the cold and start the day with the sun on my face and fresh cold air breathing through my nose. It's the little things that matter in life and often times we forget to enjoy these ones. I really enjoyed my morning today and I hope you guys are doing the same.

Until next time, I wish you all a great day and Hive on!

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

These work beautifully in both mediums. With the gentle warm sun behind in the colour shots and the textures of the ice in the black and white shots. Nice work!
