Went out for a late lunch for Sunday to a coffeeshop at Lorong 1 Toa Payoh.
周日午饭吃得比较晚，去了大巴窑1巷的一家咖啡店。

Then went to a nearby table to sit and wait.

They served mine which cost $6.40.

Went to visit my mother in law and stayed for dinner. My wife and the helper went out to buy some food back. After dinner, I sat for a while before driving back one. I saw that there is a night market the town central.

Decided to take a walk to go check it out.

Located just outside the Courts store was a row of food stalls.

Went further up and saw a clothes stall.

There was an interesting stall selling different types of instant noodles with hot water dispenser and bowls available. Nobody was there and there was no instruction so don't know how that works.
有个很有意思的摊位卖各种方便面，还有热水壶和碗。当时没人，也没有任何说明，所以不知道怎么用。
At the end closer to the road were some stalls selling 2nd hand items.
靠近马路的尽头有一些卖二手货的摊位。
Across from them, there was a game stall.
对面是一个游戏摊位。
There was a local old school candy stall.
那里有个老式糖摊。
Went further inside and there were rows of claw machines
再往里走，可以看到一排排抓娃娃机。
There was a big open space where some people were riding some small cars.
还有一个很大的空地，有些人正在玩小型汽车。

The bee hoon looks delicious my friend. I haven't tasted bee hon cooked like this. I guess if I can visit SG in the future I will definitely try this one. Me drooling now☺️

叮叮糖是什么糖呀
还没吃过客家酿豆腐嘞
那些摊位真是琳琅满目
找“师傅”解答。
叮叮糖（又称凿糖、白糖糕或坎坎糖），这可是不少人的童年回忆杀！
听着那“叮叮——当、叮叮——当”的小铁锤敲击声，就知道卖糖的老头儿挑着担子过来了。这种糖其实非常有讲究：
🍭 它是怎么来的？
叮叮糖的主要成分是麦芽糖。师傅们通过不断地“拉糖”，将原本深褐色的麦芽糖吸入空气，反复折叠、拉伸，最终变成硬邦邦、白亮亮的糖块。
🔨 为什么叫“叮叮”？
因为它质地极坚硬，没法用手掰开。老板通常会用一把小铁锤和一副月牙形的铁片，在糖块上精准地“凿”下一块块不规则的小碎片。那清脆的敲击声，既是加工过程，也是走街串巷的招牌。
😋 吃起来什么感觉？
初味： 刚入口时像小石头一样硬，带着淡淡的米香和麦芽清甜。
回味： 随着唾液慢慢溶化，糖块变得有嚼劲（有些地方的叮叮糖里还会拌入芝麻或花生粉），最后黏黏甜甜的，非常耐吃。
现在的城市里已经很难见到挑担子现场凿糖的匠人了，大多变成了超市里的包装食品。
