The water heater at home had been leaking for a few weeks. It's more than 6 years old and we have warranty for 7 years. Called the service centre and they requested the invoice for my purchase. Thank goodness I still have copy. They will replace the heater but I had to pay for installation fees of $130.

家里的热水器漏水了几个星期。它已经用了6年多了，保修期是7年。我打电话给服务中心，他们要了我的购买发票。谢天谢地，我还留着发票副本。他们会更换热水器，但我得支付130元的安装费。

Yesterday, the installer came.

昨天，安装工人来了。

He took out the old water heater quite fast after turning on the tap to ensure the water in the pipe system were drained.

他打开水龙头，确保管道里的水排干后，很快就把旧热水器拆了下来。

It was nomination day for our general election in Singapore and the TV was covering the story. So I was watch while the guy work on installing the new water heater.

那天是新加坡大选的提名日，电视正在报道。所以我在一旁看着，安装工人继续工作。

My other distraction was to do my on installation work.

我的另一项分心工作就是我自己的安装工程。

我给老婆的手表贴上屏幕保护膜。

The installation of the water heater finally completed.

热水器终于安装完成了。

The guy turned on the tap to let the dirty water flow out first. Now, I have hot water on nomination day.

安装工打开水龙头，先把脏水放掉。现在，我在提名日有热水用了。
