Sunday was 5th day of Chinese New Year. Went out for late Sunday lunch as usual. Headed to a coffeeshop at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh.

周日是大年初五。照常出去吃周日晚午餐。去了大巴窑 4 巷的一家咖啡店。

Opted to buy the minced pork noodle.

选择买肉碎面。

My wife had grabbed a table while I bought the noodle.

我买面的时候，太太已经霸了一张桌子。

Each bowl of simple noodle cost $4.50. Thankful for the simple meal option.

每碗简单的面条要 $4.50。感谢有简单的餐食选择。

After a visit to the inlaws, went back to the town central for dinner. Decided to get some Japanese food from Ichiban.

去了一趟岳父岳母后，回到市中心吃晚饭。决定去 Ichiban 吃些日本料理。

They showed us to a table outside.

他们带我们到外面的一张桌子。

We placed our order and the tea was served rather quickly.

我们点了菜，茶很快就端上了。

We ordered a set meal to share.

我们点了一份套餐一起分享。

It came with chawan mushi which they brought later.

套餐里有茶碗蒸，他们后来送来了。

Also ordered some sushi to share.

还点了一些寿司一起分享。

By the time we finished eating, the outside section had no more diners.

等我们吃完的时候，外面已经没有客人了。

Went to pay about $48 for the dinner. Happy enough.

晚餐花了大约 48 元。吃得还满意。
