Grasshopper A familiar name, an unknown story
Although grasshoppers are a very familiar insect around us, their life cycle and behavior are very mysterious. Grasshoppers are usually seen near water bodies, as their eggs and childhood stages are spent in water. Grasshoppers fly over water and survive eating small insects. The one seen in the picture is probably a male grasshopper, as its body color is slightly bright blue and gray, which is often characteristic male grasshoppers.
