I'm grateful for the clouds above my head

Look Up

Well if there's one thing for certain, there's no shortage of clouds in Ireland although to be fair in the last six weeks with the heat wave we've had there hasn't been as many as usual, but typically in Ireland our sky is filled with clouds of all descriptions. Big ones, little ones. Grey ones and white ones. Whispy ones and Fluffy ones.

I particularly like the colours of these ones when I looked out today.

These days I try to be grateful as much as I can so I guess I'm grateful for these clouds, as I know they bring rain and there's lots of countries around the world who badly need rain and are affected by drought and things like that so I'm grateful for these clouds.

The photos used are all my own captured on my trusty Samsung smart phone*

Thanks a million for stopping by

Peace out.

Beautiful shots! We need some more clouds. Been pretty dry here and rain is a must. Looking forward to maybe getting some storms today.

Ya we sometimes forget how lucky we are in Ireland. Never any shortage of rain and therefore water, other than the very occasional heat wave

We usually get more rain than this, but it has been a weird year so far.

It seems to be common theme, we have had six weeks of sunshine in the West of Ireland with hardly any rain which is unheard of, it is raining this week alright, but before that it was wall to wall sunshine. Global warming eh... It's the low lying countries that I really worry for as the polar ice caps continue to recede and water levels rise..

Yeah, I totally agree with you there. I am still trying to figure out if this is global warming or just a cyclical trend that always occurs. Even if it is the latter, I still feel that we are accelerating the natural progression of things.

For me global warming is most certainty a huge part of the issue, there are other issues as well though, regular solar flares and cyclical weather patterns but for sure humanity is accelerating an exasperating the problem.
