Beky- Una tortuga consentida (Es/En)

Feliz tarde amigos de Hive, les extiendo un cordial saludo acompañado de un fuerte deseo de que tanto ustedes como cada uno de los miembros de su familia se encuentren bien. Hoy les quiero hablar sobre una linda tortuga que tiene cautivado a muchos trabajadores de un negocio y me di cuenta de su simpatía porque hasta posó para que le tomara fotos.

Happy afternoon friends of Hive, I extend to you a cordial greeting accompanied by a strong wish that you and each of your family members are well. Today I want to tell you about a cute turtle that has captivated many workers in a business and I noticed his sympathy because he even posed for me to take pictures of him.

Beky es una tortuga que se ha hecho querer por los empleados del negocio en donde vive. Por cierto, es una venta de repuestos de motos, el negocio está en una casa antigua que tiene un pequeño espacio en el cual el dueño ha colocado a sus mascotas. Me llamó la atención que al entrar, lo primero que se ve es una familia de morrocoyes y como el negocio estaba lleno de personas me quedé tomando fotos hasta que se desocupara un poco. Yo no iba a comprar nada, iba de acompañante, así que me tomé mi tiempo para tratar de hacer buenas tomas.

Beky is a tortoise who has endeared himself to the employees of the business where he lives. By the way, it is a motorcycle parts store, the business is in an old house that has a small space in which the owner has placed his pets. It caught my attention that upon entering, the first thing you see is a family of morrocoys and as the business was full of people I stayed there taking pictures until it got a little unoccupied. I wasn't going to buy anything, I was a companion, so I took my time to try to take good shots.

Me alegró que les hayan colocado de comida una lechuga en buen estado. Por lo general a estos pequeños animalitos les solemos dar lo que sobra de la lechuga o las hojas que vemos aportadas, pero los dueños del negocio se esfuerzan por darle una buena comida. Algo que captó mi interés fue que al llegar, yo vi a Beky, la tortuga que tiene el caparazón chato llena de tierra al igual que las demás, pero mientras me acerque al negocio para ver qué tanto faltaba uno de los empleados la sumergió en un mini pozo que le hicieron y la dejó limpia y reluciente.

I was happy to see that they were fed a good lettuce. Usually we give these little animals the leftover lettuce or leaves that we see brought in, but the owners of the business make an effort to give them good food. Something that caught my interest was that when I arrived, I saw Beky, the turtle that has a flat shell full of dirt like the others, but as I approached the store to see how much was missing one of the employees dipped it in a mini well that was made and left it clean and shiny.

No me dio tiempo de capturar el momento en que bañaron a Beky, pero al notar que lo hicieron solo con ella me percaté de que sentían cierta afinidad por ella. Resulta que al parecer es un pequeño galápago y como su apariencia es diferente la tratan con más cariño. No creo que se trate de preferencias, suele pasar que nos encariñamos más con un animalito que otro. Además, si realmente es un galápago sus necesidades son diferentes a la de los morrocoyes, por lo tanto, considero que están haciendo un buen trabajo los dueños de estas mascotas.

Aunque considero que el pozo en donde bañan a Beky le hace falta más higiene, valoro mucho el que se hayan tomado el tiempo de apartarle un sitio a ella para sus baños. De seguro con el tiempo le harán algo mejor. La verdad es que tener una mascota requiere tiempo y dedicación, pese a que Beky está en un lugar muy concurrido de personas por ser un local comercial, pude notar que la tienen bien atendida. No solo a ella sino también a sus compañeras.

I didn't have time to capture the moment when they bathed Beky, but when I noticed that they did it only with her, I realized that they felt a certain affinity for her. It turns out that apparently she is a small tortoise and because her appearance is different they treat her with more affection. I don't think it's a matter of preference, it tends to happen that we get more attached to one animal than another. Besides, if it really is a tortoise its needs are different from those of the morrocoys, therefore, I consider that the owners of these pets are doing a good job.

Although I think that the well where Beky is bathed needs more hygiene, I appreciate that they have taken the time to set aside a place for her to bathe. Surely with time they will make something better for her. The truth is that having a pet requires time and dedication, even though Beky is in a very crowded place because it is a commercial place, I could notice that she is well cared for. Not only her but also her companions.

En total son seis mascotas que tienen en el negocio, dos grandes, tres pequeñas y Beky que es la consentida. Me gusta mucho que la comida es para todas y que cada una come tranquilita. Los animales son hermosos y transmiten mucha alegría. Estos pequeños merecen protección y cuidado para que sigan creciendo tan bonitos y deleitarnos con su simpatía.

In total there are six pets in the business, two big ones, three small ones and Beky, who is the spoiled one. I really like the fact that the food is for all of them and that each one eats quietly. The animals are beautiful and transmit a lot of joy. These little ones deserve protection and care so they can continue to grow so beautiful and delight us with their friendliness.

Es imposible no sentir ternura al ver un morrocoy tan pequeño, un ser vivo que sin saberlo nos reporta mucho bienestar. Particularmente no puedo describir la sensación tan bonita que barga mi ser cuando veo escenas tan bonitas que me hacen suspirar ye llevan a tomar fotos de inmediato para compartir mi alegría con otros. La verdad es que vivimos en un planeta lleno de vida, somos muy afortunados y debemos mostrar gratitud por este hermoso regalo.

It is impossible not to feel tenderness when seeing such a small morroccoy, a living being that unknowingly brings us a lot of well-being. Particularly I cannot describe the beautiful sensation that sweeps my being when I see such beautiful scenes that make me sigh and lead me to take pictures immediately to share my joy with others. The truth is that we live on a planet full of life, we are very fortunate and we should show gratitude for this beautiful gift.
