Acompañame a Las Salinas de Cumaragua (Es/En)

Feliz tarde mis queridos amigos de Hive, les extiendo un afectuoso saludo acompañado de un genuino deseo de que se encuentren bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el hermoso paisaje que se aprecia en La Península de Paraguaná, especialmente en Las Salinas de Cumaragua. Espero que les guste mi publicación.

Happy afternoon my dear friends of Hive, I extend to you an affectionate greeting accompanied by a genuine wish that you are well. Today I want to share with you the beautiful landscape that can be seen in the Paraguaná Peninsula, especially in Las Salinas de Cumaragua. I hope you like my publication.

Les cuento que originalmente nuestro destino era el Cabo San Román, ubicado en el estado Falcón de nuestra hermosa Venezuela. Siempre he querido conocer este sitio porque quienes han ido me han mencionado que desde allí los atardeceres se ven muy hermosos. Yo amo los atardeceres y esa es la razón por la que deseaba y aún deseo visitar dicho sitio turístico. Lamentablemente no pudimos llegar hasta allá por el factor gasolina, sin embargo, pude conocer el maravilloso escenario natural que evocan Las Salinas de Cumaragua.

Para serles sincera, no sabía que esto existía, ni siquiera de qué se trataba, así que se podrán imaginar mi asombro cuando llegué a ver la sal en sus diversos estados y en un color tan lindo. Cabe destacar que antes de llegar a este maravilloso lugar pasamos por este castillo abandonado. Me surgieron muchas dudas al respecto, todavía no he investigado qué se hacía en dicho castillo, lo cierto es que me gustó mucho porque fue estar en frente de un pedacito del pasado. En fin, captó mi atención este castillo pero no tanto como la sal que puse observar posteriormente.

I tell you that originally our destination was Cabo San Roman, located in the state of Falcon in our beautiful Venezuela. I have always wanted to visit this place because those who have been there have mentioned to me that the sunsets look very beautiful from there. I love sunsets and that is the reason why I wanted and still want to visit this tourist site. Unfortunately we could not get there because of the gasoline factor, however, I was able to see the wonderful natural scenery evoked by Las Salinas de Cumaragua.

To be honest, I did not know that this existed, not even what it was about, so you can imagine my amazement when I got to see the salt in its various states and in such a beautiful color. It is worth mentioning that before arriving to this wonderful place we passed by this abandoned castle. I had many doubts about it, I have not yet investigated what was being done in this castle, but I really liked it because it was like being in front of a little piece of the past. Anyway, this castle caught my attention but not as much as the salt that I observed later.

Por fin llegamos y ya desde un principio sentía el sabor a sal en mis labios. A algunos no les gusta este sabor y menos con el calor que hace pero les confieso que yo lo disfruté al máximo. Todos mis sentidos estaban trabajando simultáneamente y mi cerebro embelesado por lo que estaba viendo. Como yo no sabía de la existencia de este lugar, mi capacidad de asombro se despertó de una forma impresionante. Me encanta cuando disfruto de algo nuevo en esa magnitud porque me siento viva y esa sensación es genial.

We finally arrived and from the beginning I felt the taste of salt on my lips. Some people don't like this taste and even less with the hot weather, but I confess that I enjoyed it to the fullest. All my senses were working simultaneously and my brain was enraptured by what I was seeing. As I did not know about the existence of this place, my capacity for amazement was awakened in an impressive way. I love it when I enjoy something new in that magnitude because I feel alive and that feeling is great.

Me sorprendió gratamente como un imperio de sal puede ser tan bonito. Me sentía como una niña con juguetes nuevo al observar este sitio.

I was pleasantly surprised how a salt empire can be so beautiful. I felt like a little girl with new toys looking at this place.

Un señor nos explicó brevemente el procedimiento pero no entendí mucho. Lo que recuerdo es que cerca de ese lago está el mar, el agua pasa hasta allí y por algunos microorganismos aunado a la temperatura, las pequeñas olas que llevan el agua hasta la orilla no se regresan completamente sino que se queda en la orilla una especie de espuma que luego se solidifica y se convierte en sal natural.

A man briefly explained the procedure but I did not understand much. What I remember is that near that lake is the sea, the water passes there and because of some microorganisms together with the temperature, the small waves that carry the water to the shore do not return completely but remain on the shore a kind of foam that then solidifies and becomes natural salt.

No sé cuánto tiempo pasa desde el momento en que se queda la espuma en la orilla hasta que se vuelve granitos de sal, lo que si recuerdo es que para que llegue a ser de color rosado deben pasar más de seis meses. Es todo un procedimiento natural y luego muchos distribuyen la sal para que la reciben y se pueda realizar todo lo que se amerita para llevarlas hasta los mercados. La verdad es que no presté mucha atención porque estaba absorta viendo el paisaje y tomándome fotos.

I do not know how much time passes from the moment the foam remains on the shore until it becomes granules of salt, what I do remember is that more than six months must pass for it to become pink. It is a natural procedure and then many people distribute the salt so that they receive it and everything that is needed to take it to the markets can be done. The truth is that I did not pay much attention because I was absorbed in watching the scenery and taking pictures.

Por un momento me imaginé que estaba tocando la nieve 😂 solo por el color, porque no se parece en nada al clima que había en ese momento. Nunca he estado en un lugar en donde haya nieve, así que cuando tenga la oportunidad de tocarla me voy a enamorar mucho más de la naturaleza, porque estoy segura que eso me emocionará mucho.

Las personas del lugar han hecho figuras bonitas con sal y habían muchos turistas tomándose fotos.

For a moment I imagined I was touching snow 😂 just because of the color, because it doesn't look anything like the weather was at that moment. I've never been in a place where there is snow, so when I have the opportunity to touch it I'm going to fall in love with nature much more, because I'm sure that will thrill me a lot.

The local people have made beautiful figures with salt and there were many tourists taking pictures.

Aunque hacía mucho calor,eso no me detuvo para contemplar todo lo bonito de Las Salinas de Cumaragua. Ver el color rosado en una piedra de sal es increíble, muchos la compran, así que los vendedores tienen su ingreso a través del turismo y eso es algo muy importante en cualquier país, aunque les confieso que yo sentía que estaba en otro país porque como ya les mencioné, desconocía la existencia de este sitio.

Although it was very hot, that did not stop me from contemplating all the beauty of Las Salinas de Cumaragua. Seeing the pink color in a salt stone is incredible, many people buy it, so the sellers have their income through tourism and that is something very important in any country, although I confess that I felt that I was in another country because as I mentioned, I did not know about the existence of this site.

No dejen de pararse en este hermoso lugar del está Falcón cuando se encuentren cerca, les va a quedar un recuerdo muy bonito y estoy segura de que lo disfrutarán al máximo.

Be sure to stop at this beautiful place in Falcon when you are near, you will have a very nice memory and I am sure you will enjoy it to the fullest.
