Genus Tanychlamys

We have noticed the presence of many different types of beautiful snails around us. Especially in rural areas where there are canals, rivers and streams, you can see many different types of beautiful snails. However, among all those snails, some are very small, which do not stay empty, but stay in the muddy water. These small snails are more visible during the rainy season. Small snails are a sweet gift of nature. There is a strange beauty and wonder hidden in their small bodies. Snails have a hard shell, which looks spiral and shiny. This shell is a shelter and protection for them. In times of danger, the snail hides its soft body inside this shell. Snails usually move slowly. Their movement is so slow that it seems as if time has stopped. Their body is soft and moist, and there are two delicate snouts in their mouths, at the ends of which small eyes shine. Children enjoy seeing snails, because they are like nature's toys. When I was a child, I used to watch our mothers and aunts save all these snails and eat them by breaking them into pieces while the domestic birds like ducks eat them. We could have benefited a lot from this by raising ducks. Anyway, it was great to be able to show you these wonderful photos.
