Blog Diaries #2 : Finally, my first ever visit in Book Sale at Robinsons Fuente 📚
Hello, my lovely readers, it's me your diaristic young lady, today I am going to share you with my first ever visit in bookstore at Book Sale Robinson's Fuente located at Fuente Osmeña Circle, Cebu City, Cebu, an unexpected one. So let's dive in,
Actually the agenda we had with my boyfriend is his scheduled pictorial at Red Media Studio at Echavez Extension, Cebu City, Cebu for his upcoming graduation, he picked me up at the house at 11 in the morning because the schedule for his pictorial is 1pm to 3pm while his family just took a taxi on the way to city. While on the way to the studio, luckily there was no traffic because it's holiday, Labor Day on May 1, 2025.
He asked me if I already eat my lunch since its already 12 while on the way, I said not yet so we stopped over at Minute Burger to buy food (he buys me food again, happy kiddo haha 🥹), I just freshened up a bit and eat. After we're done eating, we continued on to our way, while we're on our way he showed me the place where he was having his ojt(on-the-job training) at Apple Tree Suites located at J. Llorente Street, Cebu City, Cebu near the Pungko-Pungko sa Fuente.
Then, while we're on our way again, I saw the Robinson's Fuente and then I asked my boyfriend if we could go there and visit Book Sale after his pictorial because I once talked him about the Book Sale near where we has having his on-the-job training, and he said "yes"🥳, the kid is happy again haha and I felt the excitement inside me.
And we arrived at Red Media Studio at exactly 1pm, we got inside, the place is already crowded and he register his name at the front desk and while waiting and also waiting for his family to arrived, my man got sleepy, he decided to take a nap for while but suddenly the place is too hot to make him asleep.
Meanwhile, his family arrived and at 4pm after waiting for his turn for his pictorial, his family name mention for his turn in his pictorial, we go upstairs in the main studio. His family are the first who took a group photo with him and after them, it's my turn 😜 (cringe haha). It was a first time, and I'm so happy for him. After the pictorial, he waited for minutes, for him to choose the photos to print out. We both got outside but sadly his family already on the way home (it is because they misinterpreted my boyfriend), after that we are on the way to the Robinsons and parked his motorcycle in the Apple Tree Suites ( for free 😆) and then walked on the way to the Robinsons.
After we got inside the mall (Robinsons), we searched the store because the first floor is the groceries, at first we didn't see it in the second floor so we both go to third floor but we didn't see it and we go back to the second floor then my man saw it, it was just there we're just failed to look for it.
After seeing the store, I got excited and walked fast while grabbing his hands for him to walk faster.
We got inside and he took my bag just so I could find better books and enjoy searching for a good book (how sweet, lucky me hahaha). We've been there for more than 30 minutes, I've found novel books and he pays for it huhu. The book store is cozy and quiet or maybe because the place is not crowded haha. I did not expected he would pay the books I took because earlier I was already planning to not just visit but also to buy and I did not expect that he was paying for it, my heart hahaha. And then I realized that I wished and imagined that to happen, I even wrote it on my journal (on my checklist) to visit Book Sale someday and didn't imagine that to happen and then he said that he already planned to (how thoughtful), I thank the Universe for that haha and also to my man who always listens to everyhing and remembered every details I've said. I got two books from the store. The store is more on second-hand books and it is budget-friendly.
We both stopped by at some store, it was filled with cute hair accessories, and ended up buying a rings, a couple rings, cutie. It was already 6pm and we decided to go home, the happy little me is excited to go home with the books and ring I got.
We walked on the way to the hotel to get his motorcycle that was parked there and then he said we will passed by the Carbon Market to buy fruits for my cousins (how thoughtful huhu)the place where small vendors are selling their goods, fruits and vegetables. I didn't realize that the place is super crowded even though its holiday, we searched for fruits and I got so sweaty and I can't feel the air on my skin (me overreacting). My boyfriend looked at me and laughed, he asked "Do you still have plans to experience the city life?" because I once talked about him that part of me wants to experience the city life and I said while pouting "no, yes" HAHAHAHA my mind didn't changed after being there just for minutes.
"THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE IN THE CITY"
Maybe I craved for something new in my whole life since I lived in a rural area, maybe I just like the idea that being in the city, poeple don't give a goddamn care about me because people are just busy working with their lives and especially dealing with there problems. The city are abundant with job opportunities that will help people to become more skillful and knowledgable which is I want to experience someday in one day. To gain and widen my knowledge from the city, to meet different kinds of people to become a tool that will also help me to become the best version of myself. I know people will see me as an ambisyosa but I don't care, we are here on Earth to live and experience different forms of life and we are just grateful for having this kind of thing, a thing that we can experience anything in this world, to dream and to experience, to put a goal in our hearts and achieve it no matter what. To experience city life not just for having fun, not just for night outs, not just for money but to find the life I actually want and to compare the life I have in the rural.
While on our way, we passed through the SRP, the wind is relaxing and luckily there is no smelly things that mixed up in the air. We failed to take photos in the Carbon Market because our phones are in a low battery, while my boyfriend are focused on driving, me at the back, busy eating the fruit he buys for me and mesmerized by the beauty of the sea near the bridge.
To my man,
Thank you for making me feel the happiest, thank you for always listening to all things I always talked about. It is not just a small thing for me pangga, it was really a big meant for me, thank you for letting me experience things I thought I couldn't experience, thank you for the books you paid and the foods you also paid. Thank you for making me feel happy. I love you always pangga, in all ways. 💗💐
