Hello Hive, It's me your bookish and diaristic young lady.

What's up everyone!
A warm welcome to my little nook of the web. I'm Jasmine Abella, 19 years old from Minglanilla, Cebu and to tell you honestly, I'm really excited to start this journey. For a long time, I really wanted to create and to have a safe space where I could share my thoughts, experiences, and passions to anyone, not just simply writing in my notebooks. Until I discover this platform which I know I can freely share without being judge and without being doubtful with myself.

So, who am I? Well now, I'm a second year college student taking the program of Bachelor in Elementary Education in Cebu Technological University- Naga Extension Campus located in Central Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu with a deep love and interest for reading, journaling, cooking, and exploring. I am the first daughter and grand- daughter in our family. Some people ask why education did I pursue in college, why being a teacher specially elementary? For y'all to know, IT'S MY YOUNGER SELF WHO CHOOSES THIS DREAM FOR ME, FOR US.

What do I mean about I always want to have a safe space for my ideas, thoughts or even myself in the internet?
What I mean is for a very long time, I am accustomed of being in my notebook, everytime I want something to let out or express my mind, I always go to my journals everytime I am grateful, sad, overwhelmed, happy or even depressed. I can't trust other social media platform nowadays especially of what they call "evil eye" sometimes I believe it was true, sometimes not. So until I discovered this from a friend which is ate coleen, she's my classmate today and also ate cathy escuadro, she encourages me to join and as a person who loves documenting life experiences I am enlightened to join this platform as my "online journal" where I can also post pictures and videos of mine that I can't do it in my physical journals or notebooks. It cost money to print pictures and paste it in my notebook but here in Hive I can post pictures of mine and it will help me remember it someday in the future.

What do I want to do someday?
Well, someday, all I want is to build a life where I know I can be peaceful, at ease, and feel the fulfilment for myself. I want to live life that I can explore, visit different places if it is local or international especially beaches. I want to travel places I always think and dream about. I also want to live the life that my younger self dreams, to become a teacher someday in the future, to create a safe space for my future students. I know life might be predictable and no one knows what's going to happen in the future but I know that these dreams and goals will be soon to happen, I assure myself to that.

During the Hive Orientation,

I am beyond grateful for Cathy Escuadro who pushes and encourages me to join Hive, she discuss me things about what she does in Hive, more on like you just writing a diary or documenting life's happenings and as a peron or as a woman who always keep things by myself, I think about it deeply if I really want to join Hive because part of me doesn't want to be expose or show off myself but I don't want also to keep all the memories by myself, I want that someday I could look back all the memories I posted on this platform. Well there's Instagram and Facebook but sadly I can't write about what happen to me on that picture on the other side, I don't like posting much on Facebook. So, one day I've decided to join Hive so that I can also document my ideas, travels and daily life happenings in my life. A big thank you for Rolando Sadullo for introducing and discussing deeper about this platform.

A little more about me:

-I'm absolutely obsessed with colored skies which is the sunrise and the sunset. Colored skies became my favorite scenery ever since the time when I feel alone, stress or frustrated. Especially sunsets, after being home from school I always bring my little chair, journal and a book at the backyard of our house because there's a perfect spot to watch the sunset every dawn. I can daydream, meditate and even praying and by that I can calm myself, being more relaxed as well as think clearly.

• I also love beaches but i don't know how to swim hoping that someday I learned how to swim. I love the sound of the waves, I don't know it just gives the feeling of chill, feeling at ease because of schoolworks, due date and even major exams or the feeling that you just wanna get away or escape from home. I love being at the seashore, listening the sound of waves, bird's chirping, the sea breeze even the sand of the beach. The best part of being at the beach that makes me heal is taking pictures while wearing the basic fits that is good for beaches just like bikinis or showing off skin. Also watching the sun set in the beach, THAT IS THE MOST PERFECT SCENERY EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH AND WORTH WAITING FOR when you're at the beach, you should never probably miss it

• I'm obsessed with cute kittens and cats and as well as new books and new notebooks (journals).
  

-My favorite way to unwind is going out for a walk, a good book probably self-help books, watching K-drama's, movies and tiktoks and also go for a hike.

• I have two cats namely ice (girl) and buko (boy), they're my stress reliever but my grandmother who's always feeding them cause I'm so lazy for that haha.

That's it! So again, I am Jasmine Abella, your bookish and diaristic young lady, inspiring everyone to have a positive views in life and be grateful always because by being grateful in life, the Universe will shower us all the blessings in life.

This blog is going to be an amazing journey for me and I'm very much excited to have you guys in a long run and hoping to create a safe community where we can share ideas, thoughts and learn from each other. Stay tuned for the next blog for y'all to get to know more about me.
