Some clients enter the studio reluctantly. The tradition of taking photos for turning 15 clashes with her desire to be somewhere else sharing with her friends. This girl spent about an hour and a half in total denial and unwillingness to take photos. Finally, and listening to the speeches of the two assistants, the makeup artist and the mother, she agreed for me to start working. It was a long session, these photos that I show you are the last sequence of the day, when she wanted a photo of her back clothes-less. In these cases I set up my lighting scheme from the beginning, take a photo of the girl dressed so she can see the expected result and then I leave the room. Mother and assistants are in charge of setting up the scene and when everything is ready, I go back in, do another test shot and that's when I tell the girl to make several movements. The supervision and physical presence of the mother is vital in these cases, in addition to the assistants. Luckily we had excellent results!

Algunas clientes entran al estudio de mala gana. La tradición de hacerse fotos por los 15 años choca con sus ganas de estar en algún otro lado compartiendo con sus amistades. Esta muchacha estuvo cerca de hora y media en total negación y falta de voluntad para hacerse fotos. Finalmente y oyendo los discursos de las dos asistentes, la maquillista y la mamá, accedió para que yo comenzara a trabajar. Fue una larga sesión, estas fotos que les muestro son la última secuencia del día, cuando ella quiso una foto a espalda desnuda. En estos casos monto desde el principio mi esquema de luces, le hago una foto a la muchacha vestida para que vea el resultado que se espera y salgo de la habitación. Madre y asistentes se encargan de montar la escena y cuando todo está listo, vuelvo a entrar, hago otro disparo de prueba y es entonces que le digo a la muchacha que haga varios movimientos. La supervisión y presencia física de la madre es vital en estos casos, además de las asistentes. Por suerte tuvimos excelentes resultados!
