Week 5, 2024: From bellow / Desde abajo
By then, I hadn't thought of anything for this challenge, so after thinking about it a lot, I went to the patio, cut out a section of banana leaf and took some backlit photos of it with my external flash. I then downloaded a lizard silhouette from the WWW and placed it as a selection on a curves layer over my banana texture. Two or three touch-ups on the edges and nails and that's it. I added some less pronounced shadows on the edges simulating projections of surrounding vegetation.

I found this magnificently rust-eaten sewer in an abandoned dock in the industrial area of ​​the port. Excellent subject for textures and stories!

Week 7, 2024: Unexplored / Inexplorado
"Dead Poets Society" was one of the many films of the great Robin Williams, and the phrase "Carpe Diem" in that context was forever etched in my mind. Saturday was our monthly meeting between photographers and models, in a place I had never explored, so I only had to choose which of the unknown models was going to be my favorite to answer this challenge, and so Fabiana entered the scene: glamorous, great, impeccable. I seized my day.

Week 8, 2024: Complementary colors / Colores complementarios
My wife gave me this perfume that has a very suggestive orange color about the citric essence it contains. I placed it on a blue surface to achieve my contrast and placed some puddles of water to add elements to the composition.

Mi esposa me regaló este perfume que tiene un color anaranjado muy sugerente acerca de la esencia cítrica que contiene. Lo coloqué en una superficie azul para lograr mi contraste y coloqué algunos charquitos de agua para agregar elementos a la composición.
