Hello photography lovers! I begin this chapter 28 today with the first five challenges of the year 2023 on the site 52frames, fourth year without stopping completing all the challenges!

Hola amantes de la fotografía! Comienzo hoy este capítulo 28 con los primeros cinco retos del año 2023 en el sitio 52frames, cuarto año sin detenerme cumpliendo todos los retos!

Week 01, 2023: Self-portrait / Autorretrato
Here I am, once again hating self-portraits! But it's the first challenge of the year, every year at 52frames.com!

Aquí estoy, una vez más odiando los autorretratos! Pero es el primer reto del año, todos los años en 52frames.com!

Week 02, 2023: Blur the action / Desenfoca la acción
362 photos to select just one, panning in photography is definitely not my thing. I would have to sacrifice too many shots from my camera to improve the level of acceptable photographs on each attempt. I hope you like this: Havana and its classic cars at sunset.
Revealed/edited the shot in Adobe Camera Raw, and then in PS I reinforced the contours of the car.

362 fotos para seleccionar solo una, definitivamente el paneo en fotografía no es lo mío. Tendría que sacrificar demasiadas tomas de mi cámara para mejorar el nivel de fotografías aceptables en cada intento. Espero que esto sea de su agrado: La Habana y sus autos clásicos al atardecer.
Revelado/editado en Adobe Camera Raw, y luego en PS reforcé los contornos del auto.

Week 03, 2023: Your hobby / Tu pasatiempo
I must clarify that my hobby is photography. From time to time it brings me some money but nothing more than pure satisfaction once a good moment has been captured. I have a collection of 85 Hot Wheels that my friends (if they remember the assigned task) bring me from the United States when they come to visit. Under the flashlight of the mobile phone, a Morris Mini. I wonder what Mr Bean would do to get out of this jam.

Debo aclarar que mi hobby es la fotografía. De vez en cuando me aporta algo de dinero pero nada más que pura satisfacción una vez capturado un buen momento. Tengo una colección de 85 Hot Wheels que mis amigos (si recuerdan la tarea encomendada) me traen ejemplares de Estados Unidos cuando vienen de visita. Bajo la linterna del teléfono móvil, un Morris Mini. Me pregunto qué haría Mr Bean para salir de este embotellamiento.

Week 04, 2023: Portrait to a stranger / Retrato a un desconocido
The advantage of having a photography group with monthly meetings is that I constantly meet new people. That month we organized our trip to the old Casablanca dock, on the other side of Havana bay. This was Adrián's first safari and I took the opportunity to photograph him against our flag that flies at La Cabaña Fortress.

La ventaja de tener un grupo de fotografía con reuniones mensuales es que constantemente conozco gente nueva. Aquél mes organizamos nuestra salida al antiguo muelle de Casablanca, al otro lado de la bahía habanera. Este fue el primer safari de Adrián y aproveché la oportunidad para fotografiarlo contra nuestra bandera que ondea en la Fortaleza La Cabaña.

Week 05, 2023: Black and white / Blanco y negro
My beloved and recurring dancer model Alejandra went down with me to the moat of the El Morro fortress, there we would have total freedom and privacy despite the fact that people gather at 20 meters high to contemplate the sunsets. We took a lot of photos, I was thinking all the time about one that would help me for this week's challenge, and finally, after a lot of deciding, I take this one. Alejandra extends her hands as if she were trying to reach something high above the rocks that enclose her. Her skin would be my desired contrast to the surrounding darkness.

Mi querida y recurrente modelo bailarina Alejandra bajó conmigo al foso de la fortaleza de El Morro, allí tendríamos total libertad y privacidad a pesar de que la gente se reúne a 20 metros de altura para contemplar los atardeceres. Tomamos muchas fotos, estuve pensando todo el tiempo en una que me sirviera para el reto de esta semana, y finalmente, después de mucho decidirme, tomo esta. Alejandra extiende sus manos como si intentara alcanzar algo muy por encima de las rocas que la encierran. Su piel sería mi contraste deseado con la oscuridad circundante.

Some photos correspond better than others to each challenge posed...I will embrace imperfection!
Algunas fotos corresponden mejor que otras a cada reto planteado...abrazaré la imperfección!
