One week at a time. Chapter 26 - eng/esp

Hello, photography lovers! Today I bring you chapter 26 with several photographic exercises that I did on the site 52frames during 2022, my third year there. I hope you find them interesting!

Hola, amantes de la fotografía! Hoy les traigo el capítulo 26 con varios ejercicios fotográficos que hice en el sitio 52frames durante el 2022, mi tercer año ahí. Espero que les resulten interesantes!

Week 44, 2022: Chaos / Caos
I went to the coast in search of crashing waves and flocks of birds. Luckily I came across this white egret, unmoved by the approaching tsunami. Having wings definitely gives a lot of confidence. I suppose that the chaos here remains in the background, juxtaposed with the passivity of the bird, but with this photo I consider this challenge accomplished.

Fui a la costa en busca de olas rompientes y bandadas de pájaros. Por suerte me topé con esta garceta blanca, impasible ante el tsunami que se acercaba. Tener alas da mucha confianza, definitivamente. Supongo que el caos aquí queda de fondo, yuxtapuesto a la pasividad del pájaro, pero con esta foto doy por cumplido este desafío.

Week 45, 2022: Street photography / Fotografía callejera
I went out to Malecón Avenue almost at noon looking for precisely people like that, who approach the wall in search of extreme close-ups or even to bathe while sitting on the sidewalk. Once this photo was taken, I was left with just the highlights, because that's everything I'm interested in: two mountains of foam and the silhouette of the cyclist.

Salí a la avenida Malecón casi al mediodía buscando precisamente gente así, que se acerca al muro en busca de primeros planos extremos o incluso para bañarse sentados en la acera. Una vez tomada esta foto, me quedé solo con los aspectos más destacados, porque ahí está todo lo que me interesa: dos montañas de espuma y la silueta del ciclista.

Week 46, 2022: Food photography / Fotografía de comida
Friends who are more inclined to drink than me say that beer nourishes because it comes from yeast, so... Cheers! I took this overhead shot of this drink and then added some ice in Photoshop.

Amigos que son más dados a beber que yo, dicen que la cerveza nutre porque proviene de la levadura, así que... ¡Salud! Tomé esta fotografía cenital de esta bebida y luego agregué un poco de hielo en Photoshop.

Week 47, 2022: Wabi-sabi
This car has been sitting outdoors for years, I don't know its history even though I drive by it almost daily. You can see my shadow at the bottom left, I decided to leave it there. This same car was my third photo in my posting thread on 52frames in March 2020, it still had a little air in the tires back then. In fact, the car is also visible on Google Earth. The coordinates are here:

Este coche lleva años a la intemperie, no conozco su historia a pesar de que paso casi a diario. Puedes ver mi sombra en la parte inferior izquierda, decidí dejarla allí. Este mismo auto fue mi tercera foto en mi hilo de publicación en 52frames en marzo de 2020, todavía tenía un poco de aire en las llantas en ese entonces. De hecho, el coche también es visible en Google Earth. Las coordenadas están aquí:

Week 48, 2022: Animals / Animales
I didn't want to go to El Chivo beach again, because it is where I usually take my seabird photographs, so I decided to go to the mouth of the Almendares River. I went with the idea of ​​capturing the occasional pelican, but today the cleaning positions were occupied by royal terns, and as you can see they were constantly fighting for the best places. Luckily I was able to capture one of the shift changes, not very peaceful, by the way.

No quería volver a ir a la playa de El Chivo, porque es donde hago habitualmente mis fotografías de aves marinas, así que decidí ir a la desembocadura del río Almendares. Fui con la idea de capturar algún que otro pelícano, pero hoy los puestos de limpieza estaban ocupados por charranes reales, y como podéis ver constantemente se disputaban los mejores lugares. Por suerte pude captar uno de los cambios de turno, no muy pacíficos, por cierto.

Some photos correspond better than others to each challenge posed...I will embrace imperfection!
Algunas fotos corresponden mejor que otras a cada reto planteado...abrazaré la imperfección!
