Hello, photography lovers! Today I bring you chapter 16 with several photographic exercises that I did on the site 52frames during 2021, my second year there, publishing without losing a single week and responding to each challenge with a related photo. I hope you find them interesting!

Hola, amantes de la fotografía! Hoy les traigo el capítulo 16 con varios ejercicios fotográficos que hice en el sitio 52frames durante el 2021, mi segundo año ahí, publicando sin perder una sola semana y respondiendo a cada reto con una foto relacionada. Espero que les resulten interesantes!

Week 42, 2021: Low key / Clave baja
It's time to session with my daughter again. It's 9pm and my backyard is pretty dark.
I placed a black cloth on the clothesline as a background, a chair for my daughter, and remotely fired my flash in a burst of six shots, with 3s between each to give me time to play with different positions of the light source with each exposure.

Es hora de volver a sesionar con mi hija. Son las 9 de la noche y mi patio trasero está bastante oscuro.
Coloqué una tela negra en el tendedero como fondo, una silla para mi hija y disparé remotamente mi flash en una ráfaga de seis disparos, con 3s entre cada uno para tener tiempo de jugar con diferentes posiciones de la fuente de luz con cada exposición.

Week 43, 2021: Walls / Paredes
I decided to photograph one of the many times that surfers crash into liquid walls while waiting for their dream wave.

Me decidí por fotografiar una de las tantas veces que los surferos chocan contra paredes líquidas mientras esperan su ola soñada

Week 44, 2021: Shot with a phone / Foto con un teléfono
Ok, I hate the camera setup on my mid-range phone, so I only use it to document everyday things or to laugh at things I come across. That day I went to the coast, photographed some surfers and took some long exposures. This young man served as a candid subject while I took one of my photos, with my real camera mounted on the tripod.

Ok, odio la configuración de la cámara en mi móvil de gama media, por eso solo la uso para documentar cosas diarias o para reírme de cosas que me encuentro. Aquél día fui a la costa, fotografié algunos surfistas e hice algunas exposiciones largas. Este joven sirvió como sujeto cándido mientras hacía una de mis fotos, con mi verdadera cámara montada en el trípode.

Week 45, 2021: Face a fear / Enfrenta un miedo
There are many terrible things in the world we live in. One of those things is watching your city burn. I made this image in Photoshop, of course.

Hay muchas cosas terribles en el mundo en que vivimos. Una de esas cosas es ver tu ciudad arder. Hice esta imagen en Photoshop, por supuesto.

**Week 46, 2021: Wabi-sabi
I love when this challenge comes out because that way I go out to look for abandoned places to find the beauty in them. Wabi-sabi is about that same thing. This hotel that was never completed lies in the middle of a forest, nature is reclaiming it little by little.

Me encanta cuando sale este reto porque así salgo a buscar lugares abandonados para encontrar la belleza en ellos. El wabi-sabi trata de eso mismo. Este hotel que nunca se concluyó yace en medio de un bosque, la naturaleza lo está reclamando poco a poco.

Week 47, 2021: Fill the frame / Rellena el encuadre
I have filled my frame with sand, rocks, debris and water in motion.
That's what I really love to do.

He llenado mi encuadre de arena, rocas, escombros y agua en movimiento.
Eso es lo que realmente amo hacer.

Some photos correspond better than others to each challenge posed...I will embrace imperfection!
Algunas fotos corresponden mejor que otras a cada reto planteado...abrazaré la imperfección!
