Hello, photography lovers! Today I bring you chapter 12 with several photographic exercises that I did on the site 52frames during 2021, my second year there. I hope you find them interesting!

Week 19, 2021: ISO 100
My daughter against a small tree on the sidewalk. A portrait for Covid times. At 3 in the afternoon there was a nice shade on this side and the sidewalk worked as a reflector for the Caribbean sun. I played around with the channel mixer in Photoshop for the colors on the tree leaves.

Mi hija contra un pequeño árbol en la acera. Un retrato para tiempos de COVID. A las 3 de la tarde había una bonita sombra de este lado y la acera funcionaba como un reflector del sol caribeño. Jugué un poco con el mezclador de canales en Photoshop para los tonos en las hojas del árbol.

Week 20, 2021: Red / Rojo
The woman who cries... in this case, my daughter again. I found an idea like this on Instagram and decided to copy it. I set up my background stand in my backyard, set the camera with the timer on a burst of 4 shots, one every 5 seconds, so I could move my flash with red gel in different positions to select the best shot in the end.

La mujer que llora... en este caso, mi hija otra vez. Encontré en Instagram una idea como esta y decidí copiarla. Coloqué mi soporte de fondo en mi patio trasero, configuré la cámara con el temporizador en una ráfaga de 4 disparos, uno cada 5 segundos, para poder mover mi flash con gel rojo en diferentes posiciones para seleccionar al final la mejor toma.

Week 21, 2021: Portrait / Retrato
Lots and lots of bougainvillea are blooming everywhere. I took this photo in my backyard with white fabric as a background, placed my 42-inch translucent ring on top to minimize the harsh midday sunlight, and shot. My daughter again ❤.

Montones, montones de buganvillas están floreciendo por todas partes. Tomé esta fotografía en mi patio trasero con tela blanca como fondo, coloqué mi anillo translúcido de 42 pulgadas encima para minimizar la intensa luz del sol al mediodía y disparé. Sin peinado ni maquillaje, tal como es mi hija ❤.

Week 22, 2021: Wide angle / Ángulo ancho
This man has worked with me for several years. He agreed to let me take a photo of him with my 24mm lens. I edited later to highlight his many facial textures.

Este señor trabaja conmigo hace varios años. Accedió a que le hiciese una foto con mi lente a 24mm. Edité luego para resaltar sus muchas texturas faciales.

Week 23, 2021: Music / Música
This is my friend Talía. She is a beautiful person and clarinetist. I asked her to pose for me for this challenge and she agreed. This is a long exposure shot. I set my camera for three seconds, placed an ND64 filter to darken the scene, and when the timer went off, I manually fired my flash three times along with the movement of the clarinet.

Esta es mi amiga Talía. Ella es una hermosa persona y clarinetista. Le pedí que posara para mí para este desafío y así lo hizo. Esta es una toma de larga exposición. Configuré mi cámara durante tres segundos, coloqué un filtro ND64 para oscurecer la escena y, cuando se apagó el cronómetro, disparé mi flash tres veces manualmente junto con el movimiento del clarinete.

Week 24, 2021: Door / Puerta
I was back in Talia's studio, doing some body paint stuff, and her hand posed for me, painted with a soft layer of gold paint.

Estaba nuevamente en el estudio de Talia, haciendo algunas cosas con body paint y su mano posó para mí, pintada con una suave capa de pintura dorada.

Some photos correspond better than others to each challenge posed...I will embrace imperfection!
Algunas fotos corresponden mejor que otras a cada reto planteado...abrazaré la imperfección!
