Here comes the sun - eng/esp

Sometimes I feel guilty for passing by the Kempinski Hotel sidewalk so much and starting my local sessions there. But the natural light is projected so magnificently at this time of year that the feeling of guilt disappears as soon as I position the models to take advantage of that natural power of light. It doesn't matter if the models walk and with the sun by their side or in front of them, the quality of the light is always brutal. And in the case of this Caribbean island, the heat that the girls receive is also brutal, so I have to act quickly so that they don't sweat too much or notice that they frown when the light bothers them. We are definitely a country made to be in the shadows, I would say. Then I remember my colleagues who live much further north who long for a few hours of light so that the sky is not always so gray. So we're fine, definitely. Come on, Melanie! Camera, pose, action!

A veces me siento culpable por pasar tanto por la acera del Hotel Kempinski y comenzar mis sesiones de la zona en ese mismo lugar. Pero es que la luz natural es proyectada tan magníficamente en esta época del año que el sentimiento de culpabilidad desaparece en cuanto pongo a las modelos para aprovechar esa potencia natural de luz. Lo mismo da que las modelos caminen y con el sol a su lado que de frente, siempre es brutal la calidad de la luz. Y en al caso de esta isla caribeña, es brutal también el calor que reciben las chicas, por eso tengo que actuar rápido para que no suden demasiado ni se les note el ceño fruncido cuando les molesta la luz. Definitivamente somos un país hecho para estar a la sombra, diría yo. Entonces me acuerdo de los colegas que viven mucho más al norte que añoran algunas horas de luz para que el cielo no sea tan gris siempre. Así que estamos bien, definitivamente. Venga, Melanie!
