I was not yet prepared for this type of dynamic photography, but I still went to the coast with a precarious 18-300 nikkor mounted on my D7200 of those times. It was several years ago, when I was starting to look for a photography specialty that I liked enough to ignore the other techniques (later I realized that I like everything that has to do with photography) and I found this community of surfers that is activated whenever good trains of waves arrive on the city's coasts. This one you see here is called Frank. He is almost a veteran in this little-practiced sport in my country, but he has a lot of talent and experience, so it was always a wonder to find him taming the waves and a privilege to be able to take photos of him with any equipment available.

Yo todavía no estaba preparado para este tipo de fotografía tan dinámico, pero igual fui hasta la costa con un precario nikkor 18-300 montado en mi D7200 de aquellos tiempos. Fue hace varios años ya, cuando comenzaba a buscar alguna especialidad de fotografía que me gustase lo suficiente como para ignorar las demás técnicas (luego me he dado cuenta que me gusta todo lo que tenga que ver con fotografía) y di con esta comunidad de surferos que se activa siempre que llegan buenos trenes de olas a las costas de la ciudad. Este que ven aquí se llama Frank. Es casi un veterano en este poco practicado deporte de mi país, pero tiene mucho talento y experiencia, por lo que siempre fue una maravilla encontrarlo domando las olas y un privilegio poder hacerle fotos con cualquier equipamiento disponible.
