Ariana came to the pier with ideas of posing for us, she brought her sunflower skirt, her Caribbean skin and her loose hair to show off on that sunny January afternoon. It was the only time I have photographed her but I could definitely take photos of her countless times. Very happy and willing, she walked with her thin heels on the rough and bumpy concrete as if she were barefoot on the sand of some beach, my fear was that she would sprain her ankle and fall into the sea, that would have been an epic story to tell, but luckily the extraordinary thing about the day was simply Ariana dominating the time and adversity in front of us.

Ariana vino hasta el muelle con ideas de posar para nosotros, trajo su falda de girasoles, su piel caribeña y su pelo suelto para lucirlo en aquella tarde soleada de Enero. Ha sido la única vez que la he fotografiado pero definitivamente podría hacerle fotos infinitas veces. Muy alegre y dispuesta caminó con sus finos tacones por el concreto rugoso y accidentado como si fuese descalza por la arena de alguna playa, mi miedo era que se torciera un tobillo y cayese al mar, aquello hubiese sido una historia épica para contar, pero por suerte lo extraordinario del día fue simplemente Ariana dominando el tiempo y la adversidad delante de nosotros.
