After the storm - eng/esp

I love those days when the rain really washes the atmosphere including the sky. It starts to rain and everything becomes gray and blurry from the force of the water falling from the sky, and when it all passes, only pure ozone is left in the air. The sky turns deep blue and eventually the stars are visible and no one remembers that some angry clouds passed by.
I needed to photograph my cranes in full night action, and the puddles between me and them helped me to compose the first photo. Because of the rain, the human stream that usually walks along the boardwalk between the restaurants that have been erected there was absent, it was my chance to take advantage and capture these snapshots of construction sites in the blue hour. Then I crossed the puddles and got to the other river (the asphalt one) and was able to capture the occasional trail of taillights from cars passing by.

Me encantan esos días en que la lluvia realmente lava la atmósfera incluyendo el cielo. Comienza a llover y todo se pone gris y borroso de tanta fuerza que agua que cae del cielo, y cuando todo pasa, sólo queda puro ozono en el aire. El cielo se tiñe de un azul profundo para con el tiempo dejar ver las estrellas y ya nadie se acuerde que unas nubes furiosas pasaron por ahí.
Tenía necesidad de fotografiar a mis grúas en plena acción nocturna, y los charcos que se interponían entre ellas y yo me ayudaron a componer la primera foto. Por causa de la lluvia, estaba ausente el torrente humano que usualmente camina por el paseo marítimo entre los restaurantes que se han erigido ahí, era mi oportunidad de aprovechar y capturar estas instantáneas de obras en construcción en la hora azul. Luego crucé los charcos y me llegué al otro río (el de asfalto) y pude capturar alguna que otra estela de luces traseras de los autos que pasaron por ahí.
