Accident - monomad challenge

I was near a friend's house and I called her to stop by to say hello, she told me she wasn't there at the time. I could barely hear her over the hubbub filtering through the call audio, so I asked her what party she was at and what was being celebrated. She told me that she was celebrating her eldest daughter's fourteenth birthday. Since I hadn't seen my friend for a while, I told her that I was going to do a brief session with her daughter as soon as we agreed, which didn't take long, because we were already having a session the next day. A storm threatened to erase any idea of a good outcome, but the clouds held out long enough for me to take several photos of the girl in the park right in front of her house, and my friend as lighting assistant, holding the tripod with the external flash. They both followed my instructions and I think everything turned out wonderfully.
