Grand Place de Bruselas (Esp-Eng)
Hoy os muestro uno de las plazas más emblemáticas de toda Europa y quizá de todo el mundo. Se trata de la Grand Place de Bruselas.
Icono de la ciudad junto con su famoso Manneken pis, el cual me defraudó profundamente, por tamaño y simplicidad del monumento.
Por el contrario, quedé admirado con esta preciosa plaza, que te hace dar vueltas sobre ti mismo para observar una y otra vez su belleza y majestuosidad.
La conforman: La casa del Rey, el Ayuntamiento y las casas de los gremios. Considerada por la UNESCO patrimonio de la humanidad desde 1961, su cuidada ornamentación es realmente un lujo para los sentidos.
Este icónico lugar ha visto a lo largo de la historia numerosos acontecimientos, desde ejecuciones hasta bodas reales. Durante las guerras sufrió numeroso desperfectos, pero afortunadamente se pudieron reconstruir.
La Grand-Place acoge frecuentemente acontecimientos festivos y culturales. Entre ellos, es digno de mencionar el que tiene lugar en el mes de agosto de cada año par, donde se lleva a cabo la instalación en su centro de una inmensa alfombra de flores, de 25 por 75 metros.
Today I show you one of the most emblematic squares in all of Europe and perhaps in the whole world. This is the Grand Place in Brussels.

On the contrary, I was amazed at this beautiful square, which makes you turn around to observe its beauty and majesty over and over again.
It is made up of: The King's house, the Town Hall and the houses of the guilds. Considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1961, its careful ornamentation is truly a luxury for the senses.
This iconic place has seen numerous events throughout history, from executions to royal weddings. During the wars it suffered numerous damages, but fortunately they were able to be rebuilt.
The Grand-Place frequently hosts festive and cultural events. Among them, it is worth mentioning the one that takes place in the month of August of every even-numbered year, where an immense carpet of flowers, 25 by 75 meters, is installed in its center.
