Orchids are one of the flowers that attract the most attention in this season of the year. It is a pity that we have to wait so long to be able to enjoy them.

Elderly people tell us that in the past they were mostly found in very tall trees, and it was risky to climb up and try to get them. Thanks to some of those reckless men, they have been able to multiply in nurseries and private homes, obtaining excellent specimens without risking so much.

I was able to see them in the patio of a friend's house. He had many, and they dazzled the eye from several meters away. That is why I wanted to bring them as a souvenir.

Something that strikes me about them is how resistant they are. They stay open for several days and in full bloom. And always the combination of colors that have flowers like these inspire great fashion designers to create their collections.
