AHA - COFFEE AND TEA
The experience of enjoying tea in Sa Pa isn't just about the taste of the tea itself; it's about the environment and the sensation of the weather. Sa Pa, with its distinctive climate compared to other regions of Vietnam, offers a fascinating and unique experience.
Having tea in Sa Pa means indulging in tea amidst the surrounding fog and the cold of the highlands. The chilly atmosphere creates a tranquil, dreamy, and invigorating ambiance. It's a wonderful opportunity to embrace a sense of tranquility, sipping on a delicious cup of tea while gazing at the mountainous landscapes of Sa Pa. Though the fog might partially obscure the scenery, it adds a mystical and alluring beauty of its own.
The spaces of the cafes or tea houses in Sa Pa often boast unique designs that blend harmoniously with nature's beauty of the mountains, fostering a friendly and intimate environment. You can immerse yourself in your tea, observing the shifts of light as the misty clouds drift across the mountains.
What's particularly special is the weather transition in Sa Pa compared to other regions in Vietnam. Situated at a high plateau, Sa Pa typically maintains lower temperatures compared to coastal areas or cities, providing a distinct and refreshing perception of cold weather. This adds an interesting dimension to tea drinking, as you experience the gentle chill harmonizing with the rich flavors of the beverage.
Enjoying tea in Sa Pa is more than just savoring a drink; it's an experience that involves the space, the unique climate of the highlands, and the distinct sensations of the cold and serene atmosphere here compared to elsewhere in Vietnam.
Enjoying coffee in Sapa and immersing oneself in the chilly atmosphere of this mountainous region creates a unique and memorable experience. When I visited AHA in the town of Sapa, a renowned beverage chain in Vietnam, I opted to try their tea, eager to experience its distinctive flavor.
AHA is renowned for its tea without the addition of milk. The robust tea flavors can be invigorating. We tried a cup of lychee tea, a cup of black tea, a cup of rose tea, and a cup of coffee. Each beverage carried the distinct taste of tea, harmoniously blended with the subtle fragrance of lychee and rose. The prices for these teas ranged from 1.5 to 2 dollars. Compared to other high-priced tourist spots like Sapa, AHA's prices were reasonable and affordable.
In fact, other bubble tea shops or cafes in Sapa tend to have higher prices, around 3-4 dollars for a cup of tea. This made choosing AHA more appealing due to its reasonable pricing and an ideal ambiance for enjoying beverages. The open space allowed guests to savor their tea while admiring the cityscape enveloped in mist.
Drinking coffee or tea in Sapa isn't just about relishing the beverage's flavor; it's also an opportunity to embrace the chilly atmosphere of the highlands, lending a unique beauty and a serene sensation to the experience. AHA provided a memorable experience, satisfying both taste preferences and affordability while touring Sapa.
