Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 164

As much as I like to give you free theme, from time to time there will be challenges with specific topics. All ideas are welcome and recently @qwerrie had a new one - "birds and trash-bin" (in the sense of foraging... finding food off human wasted resources). Thank you @qwerrie!

The urban areas provide schelter for many birds and they soon realised there is a source of food and building material for their nests in our waste. Seagulls are notorious for rummaging the trash bins and stealing food anywhere they can find, however my examples include crows. I have seen them quite often picking bits from the bins and finding other rubbish left by irresponsible humans outside the bins.

If you can't find a bird near the trash bin, but with some rubbish, that will do. That is why in my second and third picture you see the crows have already picked the rubbish.
