Street photography - Monomad Challenge.

Happy start of the week to all my friends in the Black And White community!

I hope this is a successful week for everyone.

I bring you a new set of street photography. As many of you already know, this is my favorite photography style and I love to drive and walk around the city capturing these little moments of Venezuelan life. I like to think that these photographs of how we live here could be interesting for people in other countries.

I will use these photos as an entry to the #monomad challenge.

I will start with this photo that I took as I was leaving my residence. It had rained in the morning, so many people were going with coats and umbrellas. What I liked about this photo was that the scene was full of cars but the two people in it stand out.

10 seconds later, the scene is different.

What caught my attention about this photo was that even though it was raining, the person who was riding as a passenger was still using their phone.

I liked the framing of the photo through the car window:

This photo, although it may be a bit basic, I liked because it shows a everyday scene of life: the mountains in the background, public transportation and a woman walking.

I like photographing this type of thing because I know that in a couple of years all these phones will have disappeared...

A kiosk:

A bakery:

And right in a little corner of the bakery it works as a grocery store:

I wonder what that man is waiting for...

A chapel and a tree that comes out directly from the concrete...

And right next to that scene without people, we find this one, hardworking people waiting for customers!

And finally, my favorite photo of the day, because the combination of coffee and bread will always be my favorite.

I took this photo inside a bakery and the lady was taking the coffee to her table.

I know that the international media do a lot of FUD about life here, but the truth is that people are still "adapting" and doing everything possible to survive and live a normal life.

I hope you have found this photographic glimpse into life in Venezuela interesting.

Thank you for watching!

Undoubtedly the street offers so many unrepeatable moments to capture that there are always great pictures and as an example I'll take the picture from the car window, an excellent composition at the right time.

Ciertamente a nivel internacional es difícil vivir la realidad de Venezuela las noticias pueden ser muy confusas, pienso que somos como el señor de la foto nos paramos en una esquina viendo la vida pasar y buscando la mejor opción para seguir adelante.
