En el caso específico del teatro, se puede tener la creencia, que los actores transportan al público, a través de la historia de la obra, a un mundo imaginario y creativo; aislándonos de cualquier cosa que podamos estar viviendo. Sin embargo, en muchos casos, podemos apreciar como las obras de teatro es una extensión de la realidad que vivimos, con la perspectiva de un estilo de teatro particular.

Algunas obras nos muestran la realidad en la que vivimos de una forma auténticamente artística, de modo que las escenas que vemos son totalmente conocidas. De manera pensante, estamos en la capacidad de atender el llamado que nos brinda el arte a reflexionar sobre ciertos temas. No es la obra en sí, ni los personajes, ni el teatro, es el contexto de comunicación de la expresión artística, mostrada bajo una perspectiva única y especial, vestida de entretenimiento. Me parece gratamente interesante, vemos de manera alternativa la realidad de la vida, de muchas personas, sin tonos grises, aportando mucha reflexión.

La tradición es ver el arte como una fuente para entretenerse, sin embargo, pareciera, que la realidad y el pensamiento crítico es lo predominante en el teatro. En este momento me encuentro frente a un panorama contrapuesto, entre el mundo afuera y la manifestación de las obras de teatro. Una dualidad que me hace ver la pureza de la vida.

The tradition is to see art as a source of entertainment, however, it seems that reality and critical thinking is predominant in theater. At this moment I find myself in front of a contrasting panorama, between the world outside and the manifestation of the plays. A duality that makes me see the purity of life.

De una forma u otra estamos siendo obligados a ser actores al azar, aun sin querer serlo, actuaremos siendo protagonistas de nuestros propios escenarios, o en su defecto, antagonistas en los escenarios de la obra de otros. Estos escenarios son perpetuos, no podemos abandonarlos, es una obra continúa donde no podemos salir de entrar de ella. Lo más interesante acá, es que nuestro personaje lo podemos ir moldeando en la medida que la obra de la vida va transcurriendo. El teatro lo vivimos todos cada día, está en nuestra sangre y piel.

Estas fotos son parte de una obra de teatro que se presentó en la ciudad de Duitama, Colombia, motivada a la Semana Internacional del Teatro, en conmemoración del Día Mundial del Teatro, que se celebra el día 27 de marzo de cada año. Nuevamente en la Sala del Grillo de la Corporación Comunitaria Cultural Atabanza hago mi presencia desde la fotografía. La obra es llamada "Pluma y la tempestad", una obra del grupo Skené Teatro.
