Marble cake
Hello hello friends.
Today I come with something different and I am very excited because recently I was able to buy a new kitchen, it has been quite difficult to achieve something that for many is simple, but in my country to buy something like this is practically an achievement, my old kitchen was many years old, literally was already in ruins even I am ashamed to show you how it was because it was completely broken, the oven no longer even worked and gradually we were able to buy a new one, I decided to buy a small kitchen because I am really happy with something small, Just yesterday they came to install it and today I decided to debut the oven making a cake that I had never done but I really like, “Marble cake” I was very nervous thinking that maybe it was going to be bad but luckily everything went very well, I am very happy because I usually made cakes in the pan and it is quite uncomfortable, plus they were very thin, to make this cake I followed the recipe of a YouTube channel that never fails me, is a Venezuelan lady who explains everything very well and always has all the recipes I look for, it is called “Temperos y sabores” (Temperos and flavors).
I hope you like it and are encouraged to try it!
- 2 Tazas de harina de trigo
- 1 Taza de azúcar
- 2 Huevos
- 1 Cucharadita de polvo para hornear
- 1 Cucharadita de esencia de vainilla
- Una pizca de sal
- Media taza de leche
- Media taza de aceite
- 2 Cucharadas de cacao en polvo
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt
- Half cup milk
- Half cup oil
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Well before starting to make the cake I wanted to grease the pan with butter and wheat flour, so that when the cake is ready it will not stick, I wanted to do this first because I'm sure I was going to forget hahaha, then I started to sift the wheat flour so that no lumps were left, separate two tablespoons of wheat flour in another container for later use in the preparation, In the other flour I added half a tablespoon of baking powder mix it and set aside.
In another bowl I began to mix all the liquid ingredients, starting by placing the two eggs together with the sugar and salt, I beat until the mixture went from a chick yellow to a lighter yellow, add the half cup of oil in the form of thread, mixing constantly with the mixer.
I took the half cup of milk and added it little by little until it was integrated into the mixture, then I took the wheat flour and began to add it by spoonfuls, after adding it all, it was a thick mixture.
Separate the mixture into two bowls to start making the chocolate and vanilla mixture, in one of the bowls add the two tablespoons of cocoa powder, in the other add the two tablespoons of flour that I had reserved at the beginning, according to the video I saw, this is done so that both mixtures are equal in consistency, since adding cocoa to one would be thicker, then I manually beat both mixtures until I had all the cocoa and wheat flour well integrated, I took my cake pan and started to add both mixtures in a random way, making both colors mix together, then I took a toothpick and made some circular movements to give a nicer effect to my cake.
When I was satisfied with the design, I put my cake in the oven, it should be in the oven for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees, when the time passed I took my cake out of the oven and I was very excited but still nervous, I was not sure if it had turned out well, I let it cool and then I unmolded it on a plate and it was beautiful, it smelled divine and it was also very tasty!
This cake is delicious, it is really delicious with a glass of milk, I am surprised that it was not so difficult, I thought I had another special preparation but luckily everything went well, I hope you like it and it will be useful if you want to make this dessert.
