A pleasant surprise - eng/esp

It had been a long time since I took photos of Miry. The last time it was a disaster because when we arrived at the location we had a terrible downpour that only allowed me to take four photos of her. But this time it was totally different, a sunny and wonderful afternoon. Even better because I had no idea she was going to show up at our monthly photographer and model meetup. So it was a pleasant and wonderful surprise to see her arrive willing to settle the mutual debt of getting together to work. I made this sequence to give some practice to backlit photos compensated with an external flash, but placing the model in the shade and trying to find an angle with little sky in order to avoid burned areas in the background. I hope you enjoy them!

Llevaba algún tiempo largo de no hacerle fotos a Miry. La última vez había sido un desastre porque cuando llegamos a la locación nos cayó un aguacero terrible que sólo me dejó hacerle cuatro fotos a ella. Pero esta vez fue totalmente diferente, una tarde soleada y maravillosa. Incluso mejor porque yo no tenía idea de que ella se iba a aparecer en nuestro encuentro mensual de fotógrafos y modelos. Así que fue una grata y maravillosa sorpresa verla a ella llegar dispuesta a zanjar la deuda mutua de juntarnos para trabajar. Esta secuencia la hice para ejercitar un poco las fotos a contraluz compensadas con un flash externo, pero colocando a la modelo a la sombra y tratando de buscar un ángulo con poco cielo para así evitar zonas quemadas en el fondo. Espero las disfruten!
